Essential sessions and optional, consent-based analytics on MockInterview
2026/10/30
MockInterview uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries to keep accounts working, remember language and privacy choices, and—only when you agree—measure visits to public pages. We do not use advertising cookies or build advertising profiles from resumes or interview activity.
rf_session cookie may remain valid for up to 14 days; new sessions use Better Auth cookies.Blocking essential storage can prevent account and checkout features from working.
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics. It receives a cleaned public-page URL and standard technical information such as device/browser details and connection IP. Advertising signals are disabled. Account, authentication, resume, interview, result, payment, settings and administration routes are excluded, as are query strings and URL fragments.
Self-hosted Umami may count eligible public page visits without analytics cookies. The same private routes and sensitive URL data are excluded. Neither analytics integration is configured to receive resumes, job descriptions, interview answers, recordings, form entries, account IDs or payment details.
Your analytics choice is stored on this device for 180 days. You can decline when the consent panel appears or reopen Analytics preferences to change it. Withdrawing consent stops future GA4 collection and removes GA cookies set by MockInterview; it cannot erase information already received by a provider.
Browser settings can also delete or block cookies. Hosted payment, AI, speech or other third-party services may use their own cookies under their policies when you choose those features.
